Generational Piece
"A generational piece which was actually handed down to me from my grandfather. I'm so glad to be able to buy a fresh one. So cool its brought back!"

Pulled from our own archive: a bolero design H Bar C produced before 1950. We found the original, reverse engineered the embroidery, and rebuilt it.
The rope embroidery is what sets this one apart. White lariat scrollwork running down both sides of the front placket and sweeping across the back yoke, the kind of detail that took a skilled hand and a lot of time in 1948, and still does today.
Cropped western cut. Cuffed sleeves, elasticized waist, the short body that makes a bolero read sharp instead of casual.
Details
We've been making Western shirts since 1897 and boleros since the '30s. Ninety-year-old H Bar C pieces still turn up on eBay in wearable shape. This one is built to do the same.
